ABOUT ME

Hi. I’m Kimberly Vilbrun-Francois; that’s a mouthful. You can call me Kim. I’m a Haitian-American born and raised in Miami, Florida. I have my BFA in Acting from University of Florida’s New World School of the Arts. And I am currently pursing my MFA in Acting at Yale School of Drama with plans of graduating in the spring of 2027.

I love to tell stories about my people. I’m passionate about amplifying Haitian voices and stories, bringing them into the spotlight where they belong. I contribute to an environment where rigor and joy coexist, knowing that without one, the other doesn’t reach its full potential. In my work, I aim to balance both, making sure neither is ever left behind.
